At Camp Evergreen and Evergreen Adventure Group™, we're developing RedLeaf Adventures™ to create more inclusive opportunities for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities to explore, connect, learn, and have fun.
RedLeaf is built around a simple idea:
Inclusion should be part of the planning—not an afterthought.
We're exploring experiences where accessibility and participant needs are considered from the beginning, including transportation, venue accessibility, sensory considerations, pacing, communication, breaks, and family or caregiver participation.
🌲 What might a RedLeaf adventure look like?
Our developing program may include:
🚌 Accessible day trips
🌲 Outdoor and nature experiences
🏛️ Museums, aquariums, and educational attractions
🎭 Arts, entertainment, and cultural experiences
🎉 Seasonal and community events
🏨 Accessible overnight getaways
But RedLeaf is about more than accessibility features.
It's about creating opportunities to participate, discover something new, spend time with others, and make memories.
We know every person has different abilities, preferences, and support needs. That's why we're taking a thoughtful approach to developing RedLeaf experiences—and being transparent about what each experience can accommodate.
We're starting with a simple goal:
